About Us

At Kilfani Farm, raising horses is a labor of love. Watching them go on and achieve their potential is the icing on the cake. We are family run and hands on. Each year we aim to breed and develop a small number of exceptional, American bred equine athletes with minds to match.

With careful study with respect to pedigree, we have tapped into the world's richest sources of top jumper bloodlines from the uncanny intelligence, sensibility, and jumper talent of the Irish Draught, in the form of King Of Diamonds, to the incomparable jumper heritage of France's Galoubet A, whose numerous international calibre offspring include three time World Cup winner and Individual Gold Medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympics, Baloubet Du Rouet. Other highly regarded lineages represented in Kilfani progeny include Marco Polo, grandsire of Great Britain's phenomenal horse and World Cup winner Milton; Germany's Ramiro, sire of Olympic Medalists Ratina Z and Royal Caliber among many, many others; the Dutch Voltaire, sire of top American hunters as well as international jumpers and notable producer of sensible minds; the Hanoverian E line which produced Hugo Simon's amazing gelding and two time World Cup winner, ET, who also is one of the world's first cloned horses; the French Anglo-Arab, Zeus, sire of Rodney Jenkin's Playback and Czar, and Canadian Ian Millar's Lonesome Dove as well as top American hunters, Alla' Czar, Jupiter, and Zico; and not to be underestimated, but the Thoroughbred lineages of Furioso, Nasrullah, Grey Sovereign, Gone West, Mr. Prospector, Secretariat, Bold Ruler, Buckpasser, and Teddy to name just a few.
